Gilgamesh

The Epic of Gilgamesh is one of the oldest stories in the world, if not the oldest. It's rarely read, but human and relatable. Ultimately, it's a story about an extremely masculine man struggling with the loss of his best friend and his own mortality.

The Epic of Gilgamesh is one of the foundational stories in The Order of Fire, and all of the First Men are required to read it.
